My name is Laura Thomas and I am a first year graduate student at the University of Kansas. I currently live in Lawrence, Kan.
It’s hard to say it any other way– Journalism is my passion in life. I can’t get enough of it, and am constantly looking to improve my journalistic skills and knowledge. Providing others with information is truly one of the most fulfilling careers in the world. Who else gets to talk to multiple individuals about their lives, and tell their stories in a compelling and interesting way? As journalists, we do this every day.
It is a rocky time for the business of journalism, but it is also a very exciting time. Throughout my blog I hope to discover aspects of journalism I didn’t know about before, and also provide others with my thoughts on Social Media.
